In 1956, Master Hsing Yun founded and established the first Ci Ai kindergarten in Yilan (Taiwan), taking the first step in cultivating talents and learning.

Master Hsing Yun gradually builds an established education system in Taiwan and abroad. Fo Guang Shan (Singapore) continues Master Hsing Yun’s philosophy of “cultivating talents through education” and opened the first childcare education center, Ci Ai Education Incubator locally.

Guided by our value of Gratitude, toddlers learn to appreciate kindness and form joyful connections. “Becoming Future-Ready with a Kind Heart.”

As they prepare for primary school, six-year-olds are developing independence, leadership, and reflective thinking. Our Kindergarten 2 programme strengthens literacy, numeracy, and social-emotional skills through inquiry and collaboration. Aligned with our Vision to shape caring, confident citizens, children practise the Three Acts of Goodness daily — learning to lead with kindness, gratitude, and moral strength.

Our Unique Features
Three Acts of Goodness Character Education

Moral values are woven into daily learning — cultivating compassion, integrity, and joy in service.

Cultural Harmony & Festive Learning

Children celebrate major festivals of Singapore’s four ethnic groups, along with meaningful Buddhist occasions such as Vesak Day and Laba Porridge Day. These experiences nurture respect and appreciation for all cultures.

Community and Service Learning

Our Little Volunteers visit temples, elderly homes, and community centres, sharing songs and performances to bring happiness to others.

Vegetarian Healthy Meals

We provide nutritious vegetarian meals — breakfast, lunch, and afternoon snack — to encourage mindful eating and loving-kindness toward all beings.

Partnership with Families

We believe education begins at home. Regular parent-child events, performances, and gratitude ceremonies strengthen family bonds and build shared joy in children’s growth.

Curriculum Framework

Our curriculum is designed in accordance with ECDA’s six learning areas, ensuring that every child develops holistically through meaningful and play-based experiences.

01

 Aesthetics and Creative Expression

Children express themselves through art, music, movement, and drama. Every month, they participate in creative activities such as Cooking Lessons, where they learn to prepare simple dishes while refining fine motor skills and appreciating the joy of creation.

02

Discovery of the World

We nurture curiosity through exploration and observation. Through nature walks, science experiments, and cultural celebrations, children learn about the world’s diversity and interconnectedness.

03

Language and Literacy

We provide a bilingual environment (English and Chinese) that builds strong communication skills. Children engage in storytelling, phonics, reading, and early writing activities that cultivate confidence and imagination.

04

Motor Skills Development

Our daily outdoor play and movement activities promote both gross and fine motor development. Through games, yoga, and hands-on activities, children strengthen coordination and develop healthy habits.

05

Numeracy

Mathematical thinking is fostered through hands-on experiences in counting, sorting, patterning, and problem-solving. Children learn to apply numeracy skills in real-life contexts.

06

Social and Emotional Development

Through our Three Acts of Goodness approach, children learn gratitude, respect, honesty, and perseverance. They practise mindfulness, empathy, and caring for others — forming the foundation of character education.

What our parents are saying

We are spoilt with choices when choosing a preschool for WeiXin as there are many options available near our vicinity.

When we finally made our decision; it is Ci Ai Education Incubator.

We firmly believe that a child's character development is prior over academic learning and Ci Ai's teaching philosophy (Three Acts of Goodness, "Do good deeds, Speak good words & Think good thoughts") aligns with our values.

Ci Ai is also awarded with the SPARK certification, which means the school is committed to provide a holistic learning environment for its children...

Parents of Wei Xin

As a parent, I have seen how the Three Good Values — Kind Thoughts, Kind Speech, and Kind Actions — taught by Ci Ai Education Incubator have gently shaped my child’s growth. What touches me most is how these values are not only taught in class but practised daily by the teachers and reflected in the school's culture.

Over time, my child has become more thoughtful and mindful, showing care for friends and even reminding us at home to speak kindly. Through guided reflections and meaningful conversations, the centre nurtures compassion and empathy, helping these qualities become part of the children's natural behaviour...

Parent of Lai Guan Shao
